Mikael Szafirowski, born in Helsinki is currently trying to influence the tri-nation area of Alsace. His tools and thus subjects of interest are psychoacoustics, non-gesturality and reflection. Using sound sources from a simple  oscillator to the complexity of a laminate guitar M.S. evades the traps of idioms in lieu of things incertain – and sometimes failed. There is always the next concert.

In the past M.S. has been founding the Royal Improvisers Orchestra and the musician collective Tumult. He’s a member of Rooie Waas, Naked Wolf and ZGB.
